The PayCheck application ("the application"), developed by Louay Barraq, is a tool for managing and tracking contracts, due dates, and payment receipts. This privacy policy aims to inform you transparently about the data collected, how it is used, its security, and your rights.
1. Data Collected and Purpose
To ensure the proper functioning of the application and the synchronization of your professional data across your devices, we collect the following information:
Account Information: Your email address, unique authentication identifier (UID), and display name provided during login via Email or Google Sign-In.
Profile & Onboarding Preferences: Profession category, age range, country of operation, and default currency choice selected during onboarding to customize the application experience and display localized monetary formatting.
User-Created Management Data: Information related to your clients (name, contract number, phone number, address, payment frequency) and their payments (amount, payment date, period covered, payment method, receipt status).
2. Third-Party Services Used
The application relies on the secure infrastructure services of Google Firebase (Google Cloud Platform):
Firebase Authentication: Used to secure account creation and user authentication.
Cloud Firestore: Used for secure cloud storage, encryption, and synchronization of your data.
Google Sign-In: Used optionally to sign in with your Google account.

3. No Advertising and No Data Selling
Privacy Commitment: PayCheck does not integrate any advertising network, any marketing tracker, and does not sell, rent, or transfer any personal or commercial data to third parties. Your data belongs exclusively to you.
4. Security and Data Partitioning
Your data is stored in a strictly partitioned manner. Thanks to Firestore Security Rules and account-based isolation (multi-tenant), no other user of the application can access, read, or modify your clients and receipts. All network communications are encrypted end-to-end via the TLS/HTTPS protocol.
5. Account and Data Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)
You retain full control over your data:
You can modify or delete each client or payment individually directly within the application.
Full Account Deletion: You can at any time permanently delete your account and all associated data (clients, contracts, payment history, and user profile) from the Settings > Delete my account screen of the application. This action immediately and irreversibly erases all your data from our servers.
6. Required Permissions
INTERNET: Necessary to communicate securely with Firebase authentication and database services.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to detect network connectivity and enable offline mode (local caching).
POST_NOTIFICATIONS / Notifications: Requested on Android 13+ and iOS to schedule and display local alerts for upcoming and overdue payment due dates.
7. Children's Privacy
The application is intended for professionals and adults managing contracts. It does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy if new features require it. The last updated date will be updated at the top of this page.
