Converti ("the app") is a currency conversion app developed by Louay Barraq. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Converti does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or advertising SDKs of any kind.
The app saves a small set of preferences locally on your device, using
Android's standard local storage mechanism (SharedPreferences).
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or to any
third party:
This data is stored only on your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
If you enable the optional "Auto Exchange Rate" feature, the app sends a request to a public currency exchange rate API (exchangerate-api.com) to fetch current conversion rates. This request only includes the currency codes you selected (e.g. "USD", "EUR") — no personal information, device identifiers, or account data is included in this request. This feature is optional and can be turned off at any time in the app's Settings screen.
We encourage you to review exchangerate-api.com's own terms and privacy practices, since Google Play requires us to note that this third-party service operates under its own policies, separate from ours.
The app requests Android's INTERNET permission, used solely to
fetch exchange rates as described above. No other device permissions are
requested.
Converti does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect personal information from any user.
If this policy changes in the future (for example, if a new feature is added that changes how data is handled), this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
